Deanna and I decided to take the girls on a trip to Ireland in May 2009. we spent our time hiking around castles, gardens, and parks and had a great time, but it was exhausting. We were there for 7 days and spent most every night in a different town and B&B:
Samantha and I went on our first 2-night camping trip at Camp Seafarer down in New Bern, NC. We both had a great time, but were exhausted by Sunday afternoon.

Venice June 2008
We took a 3-day trip to Williamsburg, Va last weekend and visited the Great Wolf Lodge. It was a nice hotel with an attached indoor waterpark. The girls loved the water. Samantha rode the big waterslides while Emily preferred the kiddy pools. We also spend two half-days at Busch Gardens where Samantha rode the "Big Bad Wolf" roller coaster twice! The photo above is from the LeScoot ride which is a log flume… Emily seems to be laughing in the picture and claims to have enjoyed the ride.

We went on a 4-night Bahamas cruise in May 2007 with the Nice family. The girls had a great time. We saw all the princesses and other characters, ate too much food, and stayed up too late. Samantha and Emily loved the "Dress-up" night and they got some new dresses for the trip.
